We made the world's biggest spinach pie! Well, not really ;). Actually, we had a lot of extra spinach and wanted to do something with it before it went bad. We thought about making our usual individual spinach pies but decided to save time and make one big one.
If you're ever craving spinach pies but don't have a lot of time to make them (or if you just don't feel like doing all that work), this is a great way to get the same yummy taste in less time.
To prepare this, simply use the same mix from our spinach pie recipe (spinach, onion, lemon juice, salt, pepper) and add it all to flattened dough.
Then, wrap it up like a calzone (or however you choose to) and bake it at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until golden brown on a greased baking sheet. We also brush a little olive oil on the top of it.
After it's baked, we typically cut it into small slices before serving. Like our traditional spinach pies, this dish is always a hit! :) Sahtan!
